Your skin is in for a surprise.
Let us take you on a journey of light through your skin.
Analysing the true skin condition with the Observ starts with a unique journey through the different layers of the skin.
Thanks to its patented fluorescence technology, different light and polarisation filters, the Observ enables a clear understanding of the skin condition across all skin layers and shows the skin condition more clearly and with more contrast than conventional analysis methods.
This means that even invisible manifestations of the skin condition come to light and future problems can even be detected while not yet visible on the surface. This makes it even easier to identify the right
care products and treatment methods to prevent premature skin ageing.
1. Daylight
Evenly illuminates the face with natural, soft light from all directions without shadows. Provides a clear observation possibility of the overall appearance of the facial skin and the apparent age. Simplifies the observation and comparison of skin changes.
2. Surface texture
Focuses on the surface texture of the skin and uncovers irregularities. Makes pore structure, irregularities, rough patches, fine lines, wrinkles, acne and scar tissue much more visible. Helps to recognize the signs of premature skin aging and contributes to the understanding of the micro surface texture and overall structure of the skin tissue.
3. Pigmentation
Underlines local pigmentation, known hyperpigmentation and skin discolouration thereby providing a better recognition of the age and level of attractiveness of the skin. Skin tone homogeneities are more easily differentiated from signs of aging, such as wrinkles or sagging skin in this light modus.
4. Redness
Helps with the “recognition of skin health” Makes microvascular structure and inflammation in the epidermis clearly more visible. Both chronically persistent as well as temporarily reactive redness can be more thoroughly analysed.
5. Parallel polarization
Provides an enhanced view due to the reinforced reflection of the light on the surface. The texture as well as the distribution of the hydrolipid film, pore structure, micro relief and fine lines can be visualized in detail. This modus helps to diagnose skin conditioned that corelate with the microrelief of the skin, while the view on the deeper tissue is minimized.
6. Cross polarised
Provides an unobstructed view of dermal structures as it suppresses interfering surface reflections. It reveals redness and discolouration in the skin which is hidden beneath the shiny surface and makes visible for example, rosacea, acne, inflammation, pigmentation, discolouration and areas of heightened sensitivity.
7. True UV-Modus
Projects invisible UV rays in the facial skin, which are then converted to visible light in the tissue. Exposes skin abnormalities on the surface, such as sebaceous gland activity, pore health and deeper acne inflammations, as well as scar tissue and future skin problems.
8. Simulated Woods Light
A modern adaptation of the classical blacklight method to expose the skin lipid distribution and the structural integrity of the skin. Visualizes future skin problems, active sebaceous glands, oiliness as well as dryness, inflamed areas, areas of outbreak, and pigment changes.
